Bitter Tonic Water
I really like this. Mostly I can taste the bitter tonic water flavour coming from the quinine, with a bitter orange, and insignificant elderflower. That's just to my taste buds obviously and others may find a different order to the flavours. Quite sweet for those of us who don't eat or drink very much at all in the way of sweet substances. No artificial sweeteners which is why I first tried the drinks from this company. I like these best cooled right down in the refridgerator, which brings out a different balance of flavours compared to when warm.
No orange
I was looking forward to this, expecting a refreshing drink with a slight orange tang. In reality it is very sweet and I could really only taste the elderflower. It is expensive and I honestly don't think I'd pay this much for such a sweet tonic water. The bottle is beautiful though, so I suppose if I was a poser I'd buy it for my drinks cabinet!
Very smooth and full of refreshing flavours
Bought this to compliment Rangpur gin and it does a good job of that although cucumber tonic is better. I'm yet to find the perfect gin for this tonic to go with but I'm committed to the task ahead hic
Good on it s own
We were sent this to review. We enjoyed the tonic water on its own with ice, it was very refreshing, but still prefer plain tonic water with our gin!
Not the best
Certainly better tonic water out there.
The best on its own
Honestly, we don't want to mix it with anything (ok, maybe Everleaf). Great, refreshing taste.
