somethings gone wrong
We always enjoyed these but the latest bag were different. The filling was like a cloying lump or almond flavoured dough. It didnt taste like or have the texture of marzipan or even frangipane. Very disappointing !
I want to marry these
They're that good
a treat
Getting fresh pastries locally is not an easy option for us, so my standards might be lower than those of people with a bakery available! These crisp up beautifully and very fast in the air fryer, and are a wonderful Saturday breakfast treat. These are sweeter and more satisfying than the Picard ones.
came defrosted
had a selection of frozen pastry options for family breakfasts over Easter. All arrived un frozen. not sure if the robots had missed bagged them or it was driver error. but very disappointing assays not to refreeze so disgarded all items including these which was looking forward to trying!
Nice turnovers
Agree that these are not true croissants but they are tasty for a one off breakfast treat
not for me
Didn't like the taste of this, it's overpowering.. not sure what; doesn't taste even similar to a bakery almond croissant. Has indeed a nutty-rummy taste, but I am not a fan. Also had to cook them less time to get them not totally crusty.
