perfect for making ice cream
My ice cream maker recipes suggests whipping cream- and this works perfectly
whipped up well
This cream whipped up well and was lovely on the trifle. Would definitely recommend for whipping!
Leaking carton
I understand the need to protect the plaent but since they stopped putting plastic lids on these I have had two delivered that were leaking. The foil top had become damaged during transit. If it has happened to me a couple of times I can imagine this is a huge issue.
Peculiar result when heated
I ordered two pots of cream in a flash sale and used one to make a commercial pudding (Green's Carmelle) and one to make a homemade panna cotta, using half milk/half cream - both puds I've made many times before. The results were very strange, because both separated to give a curious jelly-like texture at the bottom (not particularly enjoyable) and a lighter layer on top. Probably fine for use cold, but judging by these results, not much good if you need to heat it with a view to a smooth and consistently-textured outcome.
Good product
Used for making ice cream. Easy to whip. Lasted a few days after opening so we could make a second batch of ice cream.
