Preparation and Usage
Place cake on a flat surface and remove ribbon. Slice using a sharp, long-bladed knife in a vertical direction. Turn cake and slice again in vertical direction to create wedge shaped portions. Clean knife blade between slices.

smaller than usual. Third of cake is thick icing
Very disappointing. Hardly any cake. It Is made with too much thick icing .
Not for me
Bought this cake on offer, first off - it is a large cake so useful for parties. Unfortunately we found the sponge to be dense and dry. There was very little buttercream and jam in the middle but a lot of very sweet icing. In the end we peeled off the icing, added our own extra jam and buttercream and finished the cake "Victoria Sponge" style.
absolutely delicious
Cake was a good size, easily served the recommended amount on the box. Icing wasnt too thick or too sweet and didnt overpower the sponge underneath. The cake itself was beautiful, ratio of cream to jam was perfect and the sponge was.. I hate to use the word.. but was very moist. Everyone commented on how nice the cake was and it all went!

was absolutely delicious but you can only have a small slice my autistic son really loved his birthday cake well done ocado, yummy soft sponge with jam buttercream and delicious soft icing on top beautiful.
