Enjoy all your favourites in one easy box with this chicken jalfrezi takeaway for one. Included in the box is chargrilled marinated chicken breast pieces in a hot and spicy onion, tomato and pepper sauce, bombay aloo potatoes in a spiced tomato and onion sauce, spiced pilau rice and onion bhajis.

Do not reheat.; Microwave - From Chilled. Pierce film of all containers and place together in the microwave.

900W 6 mins
Stir after cooking.; Oven cook - From Chilled. Preheat oven.
Pierce film of Chicken Jalfrezi and Bombay Aloo. Peel back film of Rice, remove Onion Bhajis from container and set aside.
Re-cover the film on Rice. Place all containers on a baking tray in the centre of the oven.
After 13 mins, add the Onion Bhajis to the baking tray. Return to oven and cook for a further 12 mins.
Electric 180°C, Fan 160°C, Gas 4, 25 Mins
Oven onion bhajis only
For best results, remove Onion Bhajis from the tray and oven cook:
Place on a baking tray. Turn halfway through cooking.

Fills you up.
I bought this in a Flash Sale. I wouldn't pay full price for it, but it was a perfectly adequate modern supermarket curry. As others have said, the "onion bhajis" are very odd - more like tiny, chewy samosas. The idea that anyone would microwave the rest of it and turn on the oven to cook two tiny little coins of nothing for 12 minutes is bonkers. Also I left the meal cooking in the oven for about 3 mins longer than suggested and the rice was decidedly crispy round the edges. I was hungry and I ate it all. Not the worst thing I have ever eaten by any means.

Cooked as recommended - but potatoes had strange consistency. And, anyway, why two carbs so rice and potatoes?

I've bought these several times on flash sale and we've enjoyed them, but full price is too close to the cost of having a freshly prepared curry delivered.

Just ok
I bought this in a flash sale. Chicken was good quality - just very small portion, sauce was nice. Rice and aloo ok nothing special. The bhaji had a very strange taste.
Ok in parts but.
I got this 40% off. Basing review on full price. Sauce / rice ratio not great. Not a lot of chicken but what was there was ok and the sauce had a nice kick and taste. Rice ok. Bombay potato bland, watery and totally tasteless. The best bit was the bahjii. Strange shape but crisped on the outside and were really tasty. Stole the show. Why so little of them though. I would recommend as a quick meal for one but only at discounted price. NOT worth full price at all.
