Chunks of beef rump seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic, bay leaf and thyme and slow cooked for tenderness and succulence. Delicious served with creamy mashed potatoes and steamed greens. Oven cooks for 40 minutes. Serves 4.

Preparation and Usage
Delicious served with creamy mashed potatoes and steamed greens
Instructions
Oven cook - From Chilled. Needs cooking
Preheat oven.
Electric 200°C / Fan 180°C / Gas 6
Remove all packaging and set sauce sachet to one side.
Transfer the beef and juices into the foil tray provided.
Cover with foil and place on a baking tray on middle shelf of oven. Cook for 30 mins.
Remove from oven and drain juices into a jug for later use. Pour contents of sauce sachet over the beef along with 6 tbsp of the juices and cook uncovered for a further 10 mins.
Remove from oven and rest for 5 mins before serving.
Do not reheat.

not big enough for 4
Very tasty & easy to cook. But nowhere near big enough to serve 4. If you bought one of these and planned to serve it to 4 theyd end up with 2 or 3 pieces of meat about 1.5inches in size.

Simply the best
Better than all the rest. We've had lots of great beef from ocado, but this was the best. It's not cheap, but it excellent quality beef, slow cooked (sous vide) to make it falling apart tender. And the sauce is a port reduction that is lovely. Feeds 3 easily and 4 at a stretch. Recommended!

Absolutely delicious!
I think we had seven large pieces of beef so agree with others about division between four. You could cut them to share though. Served with mash and veg, plenty for all. Truly delicious, melt in the mouth beef in the best gravy/sauce ever.

Simply delicious
We have purchased this several times and absolutely love it. Great with mash and veg. There is plenty for 4 people, so at £6.25 per person, we don’t think it’s too expensive for a delicious weekend treat when you consider that going out for meal would cost so much more.
