Wild sockeye salmon ﬁllets with a rich flavour, a distinctive bright colour and a firm, flaking texture. Simply pan-fry for 10 to 12 minutes. Naturally rich in Omega-3. Two per pack.

Storage

For Use By, see front of pack. Keep refrigerated 0°C to +5°C. Suitable for freezing. This product has been frozen and return to chill temperature. Further freezing will not affect quality. Freeze by date mark shown and use within one month. Once defrosted (in a refrigerator) consume within 24 hours. Defrost thoroughly before use.

Preparation and Usage

This product has been specially vacuum sealed to ensure freshness. When the pack is opened you may notice a faint odour, naturally associated with this technology. Any odour will quickly disappear after a few minutes.

Instructions

Shallow Fry - From Chilled. 10-12 min
Fry Remove all packaging.
Season with salt and pepper. Heat a little oil in frying pan until hot.
Fry over medium heat. Turn once. Thickness of fish may vary, thicker pieces will take longer to cook.
Do not reheat.

Not LEAP! Dry and tasteless

I was sent these tail end salmon fillets as a substitute for LEAP fillets which were out of stock by the time my order was packed. I’m wondering why I didn’t just receive another LEAP promotion. This substitute salmon was thin, tasteless, hopelessly too bright and unnaturally coloured - quite off putting really. No amount of “spicing it up” made a difference. Very disappointing product from M&S.

beautiful colour - disappointed however

I was really impressed with the colour. Disappointed to find out here, that its not actually wild and contains dye. Very disappointing

Not Wild Salmon!!

Theyre sending this today as my substitution for Leap. I read reviews and noted that someone said it wasnt wild. I thought theyd made a mistake,but no its true.I assume theyve take wild salmon and bred in farms and passed it off as direct from the sea. Best we always check our labels,the deceit! Obviously this is going back out of principle.

Not sure what makes it premium.

Quite thin tail end fillets so the cheaper cut and full of bones too - well over 20 from 2 pieces. Disappointing .
