Product information

Winemaker Leon Esterhuizen of Journey's End selects chardonnay from sustainably farmed grapes grown in prime cool coastal vineyards. Ageing the wine for 6 months in French oak, he brings a subtle complexity to this rich but refreshing wine.
Subtle aromas of toasted almonds and moreish flavours of peach, fresh apple and vanilla.
A versatile wine, pairing with white meats and seafoods. Try with creamy dishes like chicken pie and pine nut linguine.

Unpleasant

Currently 2022 vintage. Leaves an unpleasant taste in the mouth. Used to be lovely, but I’ve now had a few bottles over the last 3 months and they all taste equally bad

loved this!

I received this as a substitution and was a bit worried considering the negative reviews. But I was so pleasantly surprised! Its lovely! Not a buttery Chardonnay but fresh and juicy and so drinkable. Will definitely be buying again!

Beautiful wine

Lovely easy drinking wine, smooth and goes well with all meals, pity Ocado charge an extra 50p on a bottle especially when its on offer at £7 per bottle in store??

Not a great one

Its OK, but for me sharp fruity, light, OK.. but not my cup of tea.

Great Chardonnay

Really enjoyed this chardonnay. Fruity with a nice length. We had a bottle with some Carbonarra and it was a great match.
