Superb with lasagne

We allowed this to breathe for 2 hours and then drank it with lasagne and salad. Superb...need to buy some more of this Lirac. Cheers!

Not good, better bought elsewhere

My son loves this wine, so I bought 2 bottles: we drank one with our Christmas dinner and one at Easter. We were both disappointed each time, the wine was drinkable, but nothing special, and my son said it was nothing like the bottles he had got from another supplier. Either I was very unlucky, or this was a.bad batch or vintage, or Marks's buyer has been tricked by a dodgy wine-merchant.

Disgusting

Think we might have a bad bottle, smelt ok when opened but it tastes disgusting even after breathing for 30 minutes. I got this after reading the good reviews as a special treat when going to visit my son & daughter in law. My son wouldnt drink it even & he drinks most things. Course bitter taste! Just poured the lot down the drain.

an excellent wine

They say if youre considering splashing on a bottle of chateauneuf du pape dont - this delivers a very similar experience but for half for the price. Its an excellent bottle
