disappointing
Had high hopes based on reviews, but sadly I have to agree that the cake falls apart and has a weird aftertaste. Its light and showed promise, but not something Id bother making again.
Best ever Gluten free cake mix
The cake is delicious, soft and spongy.
Delicious Gluten Free cake
Finding tasty gluten free food that is not dry or bland, can be a challenge, I usually make my own cakes but decided to try this. I am glad I did, a lovely moist cake, full of flavour and easy to make.
Lovely loaf cake
I was concerned this would taste sweet but I didn't find it so. I added the juice and zest from a large orange. Gluten free is always dry, so a little extra moisture helped no end. It's high on carbohydrate but that's to be expected when flour and sugar are involved. If you're on a low carb diet, don't eat this cake :-) I had it with canned fruit and Elmlea. Probably nice buttered and eaten with a cup of tea.
Lovely and light
I really like this, yes it is a bit sweet but as a treat its good. I replace the water with the juice of one orange and add in the zest. Really tasty, good as cup cakes too.
Very tasty
These are really easy to make and very tasty. I made them as cup cakes. However, they are on the sweet side so I won't be having them regularly.
