What a looker
Was super excited about this but the 3 layers kind of tasted the same. There was an overwhelming amount of buttercream. Could do with less of that and more cake. On the plus side, it looks great
awful .
We were deeply disappointed. Very sweet , very artificial and heavy cake, made us sad. We had the frozen black forest cake from m&s it was quite nice. But not this one.
Disappointing
I am a chocolate cake fan and was really disappointed with this cake. For over £30, I would have expected real chocolate flavours instead of sweet, sugary, fairly tasteless cake. if it had been a cheap cake, then it was OK. I wouldn't buy it again. *Sad birthday girl*
A perfect cake for a birthday
Got this for my sons birthday as he loves chocolate cakes, it was one of the most delicious cakes we ever had. It's very filling and you may not be able to finish a whole slice. I'd say it feeds about 12 people, we fed 9 and have some left for later. It's expensive for a fairly small cake but well worth it.
amazing cake
Used this cake for my daughters birthday party last year and will definitely be having this for her birthday this year but for family only as it tasted so good want to be able to have more of it this year instead of using it at the party it was so delicious

Really delicious! Very good quality sponge and the chocolate ganache is so good! Really tall cake and it looks very impressive.
