Not suitable adding to tomato sauce
Probably my own fault as instructions are to fry but I wish instructions made it clear this is not suitable for cooking with any kind of liquid. Turned to a slimy mush and have had to throw it away along with a lot of other really nice ingredients. Just yuk!
Went in the bin
Had to throw this in the bin after cooking, wasted lots of ingredients doing so. It taste weird mushy and inedible.
Horrible
This mince is horrible. Strange taste and goes mushy. Couldn't eat it. Won't buy it again. Disappointing as I love the rest of the plant kitchen range.
Tiny bits of seed
I'm pleasantly surprised by the "wholesomeness" of the ingredients in this veg mince (bar the wheat gluten... but I guess that is needed for structure) and the taste and texture are not half bad... what I don't understand is the need for the sunflower/pumpkin seeds. Fortunately, they are quite finely ground so you only get the small, crunchy bit here and there but what were they trying to mimic with this addition? gristle? does "real mince" have to have crunchy bits in it? *confused face*
Proably wouldnt buy again
Got this in a flash sale and had high hopes due to the ingredients list. Somehow its quite chemically tasting and also turns into mush when cooked. Think well stick to Beyond in future
