Beyond revolting
We (vegetarians) tried these in our search for a veggie hotdog sausage since Quorn stopped making theirs. As they were M&S, we thought they were a good bet. I didn’t even get to the chewing stage with mine as the texture in my mouth when I took a bite was so revolting. My friend got a bit further but couldn’t finish the first one. The rest were binned. No wonder meat eaters are put off vegetarian food if they think it’s all like this!
not for me
I wanted to like these and plant kitchen do such good vegetarian products. I cooked one in the airfryer, didnt like the texture or the taste. I put the rest of the packet in the bin.
Not a hit
They were all eaten, but not a repurchase. Very dense texture.
yum
Had no idea these were vegan. Thought they were vegetarian. My heart sank when I finally put my glasses on lol. These were really lovely. Smoky, beautiful. Firm. Gave one to my dad who is a massive carnivore and he didnt realise they werent meat. Id buy them again as a treat because theyre quite expensive for me to afford every week.
horrid
Weird texture, dont taste like hotdogs, gave me indigestion. Yet another revolting veggie sausage
good flavour and texture
Were firmer than I thought they would be. We had in a bun with onions, mustard and Tommy K and found them filling. What is annoying is that they seem to be the only veggie/vegan option on the £10 offer - would be good to be able to mix with other items.
