Delicious with linguine and capers
I was initially disappointed with how small the packet seemed when our shopping arrived. I made a pasta dish by cooking garlic in olive oil then added chilli flakes, lemon zest, lemon juice, peas, chopped capers and the trout flakes and linguine. It was a quick meal and really delicious. £2 per portion doesn't seem so bad for something that tasted that good.

Beautifully flaky and just the right zing of saltiness for me. Had them flaked through cauliflower cous cous and it was delicious.

So much better than salmon flakes. They were meant to be for a recipe but got eaten straight from the packet!
used in risotto
Got on flash sale so used in a peas risotto just stirred through at the end. Good texture, moist and Smokey. Good size pack. I love this trout and have got on flash sale a Number of times
Way too salty!! Why?
Perfect trout. Ruined only by the salt added. Really over the top salty. Why ruin it like that? we can add salt if we want but we can't take it off.
