Mediocre
This is neither sushi (raw fish) nor smoked salmon (cured) as it's also been seared. It didn't taste like smoked salmon, nor did it taste like sushi - in fact, it didn't have much taste as all. Also, mine arrived with slices that fell apart when lifting from the package. I bought on a half price deal, and even then I'd say it wasn't really worth it.
Instant sushi
I used this to make self-assembly sushi, with pre-cooked rice and a wrapping of nori sheets. Edamame beans on the side. It made the expensive salmon go further and was a delicious lunch.
Disappointing
The flavour and texture of the salmon was disgusting, and did not go well with the dipping sauce
delicious
Ive been buying this salmon for some time now and yes, there is less than there used to be but isnt that the case with everything these days? But my goodness its delicious. The salmon is soft and melty and the sauce adds a lovely kick. A worthy treat.
Used to be better
I have bought this previously and not bought it for sometime, but thought I would treat myself. I was left a little bit disappointed as the cost of the salmon was so much thinner than previously, and they soya & Wasabi sauce was a little bit sooner than before. So left a little bit disappointed even though the taste was not too bad.
very fishy
Salmon is very thin and a strong fishy taste. To avoid at all cost!
