Substitution
I'm not a huge fan of Pink Lady apples. Was given these as a substitute for Cosmic Crisp (which are lovely). I definitely wouldn't buy again. Not very crunchy, certainly not juicy and I prefer a more tangy apple. Not for me.
M&S pink Lady apples
I am not a great lover or eater of apples but I have to admit these are rather nice. I am a convert who is trying to eat a little healthier and I surprised myself just how much I enjoyed them. I do peel them so cant comment on what they are like as a whole but the flesh was sweet and juicy and I will be buying them again.
poor quality
like a lot of the M&S fruit and veg, since they took the sell by date off and reduced the packaging they are very poor quality and bruised, I buy mine at a competitors shop now.
delicious
They are big, juicy and full of flavour. who doesn't like a pink lady? gorgeous!
Should be cheaper
The apples were bruised but not much had to be cut off. They were tasty but for apples that would otherwise be dumped or put in yellow sticker shelf they should be a lot cheaper,
Not always pink lady & often old & bruised
This is not the quality expected M&S. I thought I was buying wrong apples approx 50% are a dark dull red & bruised. They are dry often taste old & certainly not the bright juicy flesh. They look & feel as if they have been in storage for years rather than weeks. Also the shape is wrong. I wish I had checked reviews earlier. When they are true pink lady it is rare to find a perfect one. Something has shifted within Ocado my loyal trust has gone. Its sad.
