Same, same amount cheaper somewhere else
Another well known supermarket, has the same: hake from South Africa, same amount for £3. Why, Ocado, why did you pair up with M and S?
Wonderfully light and delicious
Crusted these in ground almonds according to a recipe one can find on a competitors website (rhymes with UNESCO) and pan fried for four minutes a side. So simple and the end result was beautifully light and flaky fish with a crisp crumb. All in all a very satisfying midweek meal
Not fresh
The fish was smelly and slimy. There was too much water in the bag. I don’t know why they’re selling previously frozen fish in thawed state. They better sell them as a frozen product.
thick
Nice thick steak like pieces, a little costly but worth it. You dont need to do much with these.
Good sized portions and value
Used to make Spanish tomato and butter bean stew - felt. Didnt find any bones and were perfect sized portions. Will be a regular purchase
