Soft White Loaf
700g Loaf
Bake a soft white loaf and enjoy fresh sandwiches filled with whatever you fancy for lunch.
500g Strong white flour
25ml Olive oil
1 tbsp Sugar
1 Sachet fast action dried yeast
1 1/2 tsp Salt
330ml Warm water
Oven 230°C / Fan 210°C / Gas mark 8
1. Mix together the flour, sugar, salt and yeast.
2. Gradually mix in the water and olive oil to form a soft dough.
3. Knead well on a lightly floured surface for 10 minutes, until dough become smooth and elastic.
4. Add dough to bowl and cover with a clean, damp towel for an hour, until dough has doubled in size.
5. Tip the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 3 minutes.
6. Place in a greased 1 1/2/2lb loaf tin, cover loosely with a damp tea towel and leave in a warm place for about half an hour and preheat oven.
7. Uncover and bake for 30-35 minutes. Remove loaf from tin and allow to cool.

Excellent
I love this bread flour. It makes an excellent, even textured loaf in my bread maker. It has a nice taste and is particularly good when toasted. Its a regular with me.

Great Value Strong White Flour
It makes light and soft white bread everytime I use this flour, usually brioche buns and rolls. Happy with the result and the money I pay for

Too high in protein
Used for sour dough but too high in protein so bread struggled to rise

Dreadful
This flour produced dense cakey loves and when fed to my sour dough starter almost killed it. I don't know what was wrong with it but I wouldn't risk buying it.

Had high hopes for this flour but could not use it as it was infested with weevils. will not buy again
