Preparation and Usage
Use the indented line inside the lid to measure out a 50g portion of rice
Cooking instructions
Serves 1
1 Rinse 50g of rice in cold water.
2 Add the rice to a pan of boiling water.
3 Stir, reduce the heat then cover and simmer for 10-12 mins.
4 Drain well, then serve.
Do not reheat.
Top Tip
Enhance the fragrance of the rice by adding a lime leaf during cooking.
Instructions
Place 75g of rice per person into a sieve and rinse well in running cold water.
Place rice in a large saucepan. Cover with boiling water and return to the boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 10 mins, or until tender. Drain and serve immediately. Thai rice is typically soft and slightly sticky.
Do not reheat.

Delicious and fragrant
The widely differing reviews are puzzling because my entire family loves this rice and guests recently raved about it when we got Thai takeaway and cooked this rice at home. Weve been buying it for about a year and have found the quality to be consistently high. I use the rice setting on our Instantpot, so perhaps its different cooking methods that result in disappointment.

Despite cooking several ways its not good quality. No fragrance. Soggy Tasteless unfortunately
Bad quality
I trust M&S fully with quality, but this isn't decent jasmine rice. It's not fragrant and has an extremely bland, unappetising taste. I love jasmine rice for its distinctive facets and creamy taste, however this is the exact opposite. Also £1.50 is really cheap for jasmine rice, the price is usually much higher in other brands. Don't recommend at all...
Cheap boil in the bag style
Bought this to make a recipe for which I'd previously used another brand. This had the flavour and consistency of boil in the bag. Ruined the dish. Not sticky at all and didn't absorb any of the flavour. Very disappointed. Won't buy again, and £1.50 for 500g is not cheap!
Great Thai rice
I am very picky about rice. Can’t complain for this price. It’s authentic Thai rice, doesn’t have strong fragrance but it got the texture of Thai rice should be.
