Arrived squashed
As others have said, arrived on its side so was completely squashed. Ocado need to review how they pack cakes. Very disappointing, as it is my daughters birthday tomorrow. I have sent it back. Dont bother ordering from here!
Lovely soft icing and not sickly
I'm adding to my previous review. This time the cake arrived with a heavy bunch of bananas on top of it, so some squashed icing. Last time it was in a separate bag. Are drivers given advice on packing? We know these cakes are very sweet but I was pleasantly surprised that it was not as sweet as I thought it might be. A very nice balance and fairytale colours.

Like the previous review the cake was badly packed on its side with the front of it completely squashed in & the piping stuck to the box! Really disappointing as it was meant to be the centre piece of an afternoon tea for my mums 87th birthday that same day. Im disabled so was unable to get out to replace it. However after requesting a refund I emailed customer services who rang me very promptly. The error couldnt be corrected but their efforts to help & apology were appreciated. We ate the cake despite it looking awful but it did taste lovely. It would have been 5* if it had arrived undamaged & 1* but for the lovely customer service team!
packed on its side and squashed!
I should have listened to the previous review. I assumed that any packing errors would have been straightened out by now. But nope. The birthday cake was packed on its side in the red tub in the van. The driver was very sweet and apologetic (and it wasnt his fault!) The cake was completely flat on one side and the piped icing bits and rainbow on top were squashed and pushed into the cake. Such a shame as I now have a rush to find another birthday cake in a hurry!

This cake is so much smaller than youd expect for the price. I feel very ripped off.

Lovely cake. Everyone said it was the best cake Id ever bought. I got it for my dads 85th birthday. He loved it. We all did. Moist sponge and the buttercream was so enjoyable. Looked beautiful too. So impressed with this cake. Will be buying it again.
