What a shame!
Honeycomb and dark chocolate are a match made in heaven, so I was delighted when I saw these given how expensive the artisan versions are. What a disappointment. The dark chocolate tasted very poor quality and the overall experience wasn't very nice, unfortunately. A missed opportunity.
Nice but not as nice as originals
Love dark chocolate and usually prefer it to milk, but, for Maltesers, I think you cant beat the original. The dark chocolate didnt compliment the flavour inside as well as the milk chocolate version. Still a nice treat though and would eat again.
Not as nice
I prefer dark chocolate overall, but I think the percentage of dark chocolate in this product is a little bit too much for me. Or maybe it's the quality. Whatever it is that I don't like, they are definitely not as moreish as the milk chocolate ones.
very disappointed
The chocolate isn't very nice, having a nasty aftertaste, and is not a good pairing for the centre.

They are really great, exactly the same texture but you can’t really taste the malt anymore. I would love to see the same sweetness level applied to the milk and white chocolate versions please as they are just too sweet. Will buy these again over the milk chocolate now as they are a little healthier. Thanks.
