Cooking Instructions - General. Here's how to cook 6 potatoes (2 portions) of Mccain Hasselbacks.
If cooking a different amount, adjust the cooking time accordingly. To get the best results cook from frozen, our instructions are guidelines only. For the most delicious results, do not overcook!
Please take care: After cooking the hasselbacks will be very hot!
Do not leave microwave oven unattended while cooking. Do not use this product after the best before date.; Microwave - From Frozen. Please follow the first three "In the oven" instructions above, then place your seasoned hasselbacks on a microwaveable plate in the microwave oven. Cook on full power. Ensure potatoes are piping hot throughout before eating.
X3: Cat B / 700W: 5 mins, Cat D / 800W: 4 mins 30 secs, Cat E / 900W: 4 mins
X6: Cat B / 700W: 6 mins 45 secs, Cat D / 800W: 6 mins 15 secs, Cat E / 900W: 5 mins 45 secs
Leave to stand for 1 minute before serving. Please note: All microwave ovens vary - you may need to adjust cooking times to suit your own model.; Oven cook - From Frozen. Preheat the oven to 210°C / 200°C Fan /Gas mark 7.
1. Remove sachet from the bag.
2. Tear open the sachet and add the seasoning from the sachet to the uncooked product, close bag.
3. Shake product in bag, ensuring the Hasselbacks are evenly covered.
4. Place Hasselbacks onto baking tray and pop it into the top of the oven. Bake until they're lovely, crisp, and golden.
Oven 210°C: 25 mins, Fan Oven 200°C: 20 mins, Gas mark 7: 28 mins

love these
Really nice. Whole family enjoyed from the airfryer witha. Dollop of butter ontop and dipped in sour cream. Served with bbq. Lovely

nope.
I hated these. Dry as the desert. Daughter however loved them and demolished the pack. Theyre not hasslebacks. Theyve just been printed with lines. Theres no cuts in these spuds. Absolutely dire. However the only saving thing was the packet of jollop that came with it to sprinkle on them. That was nice. Potatoes not so much.

Dry, mealy and sweet tasting
Not for us some of the potatoes are not hassleback just grooves and the texture is far too soft. Normally these are made with waxy potatoes but these seem to be old and tasted sweet

Delicious if you ignore cooking instructions
If you ignore the cooking instructions, and dry bake for 50mins/1hr at 180 they come out with super crispy skin but fluffy inside. It took a bit of perseverance to find my perfect end resusult.
