Metcalfs popcorn sharing bag
Like chewing cardboard!
Have been buying this for a few years now, tastes great and not as bad for you as some of the other brands
Big thumbs down to the new recipe
I used to enjoy this brand of popcorn, but hadnt bought for a while. Tried it again as it was on special offer but the recipe has changed. It tastes much saltier and leaves a strange unpleasant after taste. (Guess that must be down to the sweeteners.) Even my kids rejected it. Most of the bag went in the bin and I wont buy again. Id rather have a smaller bowl of popcorn that is free from artificial sweeteners.
No thank you
It appears the packaging is not recyclable which is a massive shame. Its not nice enough to buy knowing that.
The stevia (sweetener) makes for a much less tasty snack compared to Poshcorn or Propercorn. It just doesnt taste quite right. Still, it could be better for teeth and calorie counters.
Artificial sweeteners :(
I used to buy the multipack of individual bags of this almost every week and loved it but hadn't bought for a few months. I then bought this sharing bag last week and it tasted different, much saltier and a strange background taste. I began to doubt myself that Metcalfe's was my usual brand and had to go back into my previous Ocado orders to check and found that it was indeed my brand. I then checked the ingredients which now contain artificial sweeteners unfortunately, and it just doesn't taste right so I won't be buying again.
