History
Cantina Montelliana was established in 1957 and is a cooperative of 400 local vine growers covering 700 Hectares producing DOC and DOCG wines from the heart of the Prosecco region.
Regional Information
Located in the foothills of the area stretching from Montello to the Asolo hill area Montelliana's growers have the ideal soil and climate for growing grapes. These are located at between 120 and 250 meters above sea level with subsoil in the area providing excellent drainage of rainwater.

Vinification Details
The grapes are softly pressed to obtain the must, which is then refrigerated and filtered in stainless steel tanks to retain the freshness.
Fermentation is undertaken in temperature controlled conditions.
Once the initial fermentation has been completed the wine is then stabilized and undergoes secondary fermentation using the Charmat method until pressure reaches 2 to 2.5 bar resulting in a gently sparkling wine.
