Inulin can cause gastrointestinal issues

This product is 13% chicory inulin, which really upset my stomach. If youre eating it regularly and suddenly find yourself suffering from cramping, bloating or gas, the inulin may be the reason why.

myriad of uses

I wasnt sure how I would use this when I was sent it to review. Since then I have added it to so many things: muesli, granola, flapjacks etc. It has twice the fibre of oat flakes but is smooth and easy to digest. Definitely worth trying!

good lower carb , high fibre porridge

I like this and will buy it , it has a good fibre to carb ratio for someone with deteriorating blood sugar control, I add hemp hearts, linseed and protein powder , and stir in some cut up fruit and cinnamon. I would like it to have a more oaty texture, but that is improved with the hemp hearts.

Finely milled, rather than usual porridge

OK, I guess but the oats are finely milled rather than traditional porridge oats which I found to produce a denser, heavier texture. Not sure if this places it in the category of the 'instant' porridge that have higher GI. M&S brand double fibre porridge is more like traditional rolled oats and my preference, but often out of stock at Ocado

i just had a serving of this (40g) and for 132 calories n 10g fiber this is SO filling, and it tastes amazing, idk what the last person was on about but this is worth the price and is quite big, the packaging is cute too but i defo recommend if u want more fiber and less calories than normal oats, its also really smooth.
