Our mission is to provide affordable, eco-friendly alternatives to everyday products. Join us to help protect the planet and inspire change.
Paper making is energy intensive and traditionally powered by fossil fuels. Our pioneering manufacturing uses 8,000+ onsite solar panels, a biomass plant powered by residues from nearby forests and an onsite water treatment plant.
Other manufacturers use bleaching agents and harsh chemicals to whiten and soften their rolls. This poisons waterways, damages the environment and can be bad for your health.
Naked Sprout:
- is proud to be the HIGHEST RATED B Corp in the sector
- is made in Europe
- uses FSC Certified unbleached bamboo
Naked Sprout has a direct impact on the planet and the community. So far we have:
- supported 300,000+ people with clean water
- saved 2.3 million kg of CO2e
- saved 15,080 trees
- saved 223,191 kg of plastic
- saved 117,507 litres of harsh chemicals

good product
We find this toilet paper soft and strong and environmentally friendly. The process and supply chain are verified at several stages, and I am inclined to believe this is a genuine bamboo product. This seems a good producer, worth supporting.
what's not to like!
I buy these regularly. they are as strong as any white toilet roll paper, and flush well. Plus I am so pleased that I can do a little bit towards saving the planet. Bamboo is a wonderful plant!
Keeps getting smaller
I have tried this a few times. Very impressed the first time on subscription then they changed it and it was much thinner so I switched. I thought I would try it again but now its got narrower - a good 1cm than other toilet rolls. So in summary, too thin and too narrow now so I have switched again!
Shame about the greenwashing
which certified test shows 4% (unidentified grass fibre), which might be bamboo. I've used post-consumer recycled for years and wanted unbleached as well. I thought I was doing something good, and no. which says, "When we spoke to experts from the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), they agreed that while bamboo (if sustainably grown) can be a better material option for toilet roll than using paper from virgin trees, recycled paper is usually an even better choice. However, it's important to note that the overall carbon impact of a particular product will depend on a lot of factors, such as whether the manufacturing process uses renewable energy and how the product is transported." back to my usual supermarket recycled
Only 4% Bamboo
Naked Sprout is another one of the bamboo toilet papers found by the Which? guide (27/3/24) to contain very little bamboo - and 69% hardwood. I don't think this company has knowingly used virgin wood but very disappointed to read that Naked Sprout are denying the validity of the widely-recognised fibre tests used instead of acting with humility and considering the possibility that something may have gone wrong somewhere in their supply chains and then working hard to do the right thing.
Great eco friendly loo paper
Could be a little thicker but top green credentials so will buy again
