Use quickly
I liked the fact that these courgettes were much firmer and not as watery as the usual sort. The ones I didn't use immediately didn't keep very well though, went spotty.
bad quality old products
I was looking so much forward to these courgettes. They came old and not in a good shape. I had to cut them a lot and use them immediately to avoid throwing them away
soft ends
At least a third of each courgette was soft/old/bad, but the bits that I salvaged were nice. Maybe its a bit early for Romano courgettes to be reliable and able to travel, but its disappointing there isnt some kind of quality control.
Taste great
These are firmer and less watery than the standard courgette. They cook well and don’t go mushy. They can be a little soft to the touch because they are picked small but a soak in cold soak in cold water sorts them out
Italian Courgettes
I was a bit reluctant having read the reviews but the ones delivered were really firm. We sautéed them with baby chestnut mushrooms and Mutti triple strength tomato purée. Bliss
Off
These would have been great if they they had been fresh. But they were going brown all over, and some were very soft.
