Brand
We started The Northern Dough Co because we love all things bakery, the making as much as the munching. Getting our hands on the dough, shaping it, popping it in the oven, and the smell of freshly baked treats filling the kitchen. It's more than great food, it's a great experience and it's one we wanted to share.

rubbish loaf
this was soggy after defrosting in the fridge. it didn't rise at all. far too dense to use once cooked. Probably ok for a pizza base. won't buy again.
Will be a weekly staple
wow! Great bread, clear and easy to follow instructions ! have added to all my weekly orders from now on.
Best sourdough bread !
Most sourdough bread you buy goes hard after the first day, or is hard when you buy it. It’s often full of big holes so not much use. This is soft and stays soft. It has a close texture so always fit for purpose. So easy to make. ….. From the freezer …..leave to defrost,; mould into shape; leave in a warm place to double in size; pop in the oven. ….that’s it ! , warm soft bread. Can’t recommend highly enough. I keep a supply , don’t want to run out.
Great pizza base
Rubbish as a loaf but amazing as a pizza base, Neapolitan style cooked in outdoor pizza oven, Better than Northern Dough pizza dough
Great flatbreads
Perfect as a flatbread with lots of good quality olive oil and zaatar
