Maris piper potatoes
These must be the worst potatoes I have ever seen; they are the same size as new potatoes and are all bad! Does Ocado not inspect potatoes for quality?! One can't see through the coloured plastic!
quality nosedive
We used to love these but recently they have been poor quality lately. Lots of black bits inside and some seem fine and then you cut open to find giant black centre. I wouldnt complain but this is third lot that have had issues. I assume cost cutting as a few fresh items have arrived less than 100% or turn super quick!
bit hit and miss lately
I know there have been issues with potato crops due to weather but lately these spuds haven't been great. Sometimes they are no bigger than a new potato and other times they're gigantic. They also don't seem to last as long as they used to.
Best when in season
These are best in autumn, winter and early spring. Make the best roast potatoes and mash. They do not keep that well into late spring.
Mouldy and black in the middle
Inside they were black and rotten, they must have been very old! Disgusting
poor quality potatoes in every bag
I'm only leaving this review after many disappointing bags of potatoes. I thought maybe it was a one off but consistently I'm having to do surgery on most potatoes in the bag, to remove huge black spots... Or the potato is green and I just throw it out. I've taken this off my favourite list. It's a shame because it was great for a long time.
