Tasty, quick and healthy

First time trying pre-cooked lentils and they were the perfect base for a quick and healthy salad. They were tasty and had just the right amount of 'bite' to them. Would definitely buy again.

healthy in a mega hurry

Yep they are more expensive than buying dried lentils but sooo handy to have in cupboard for a super fast lunch or snack when you dont have the time or energy to prepare. Surprisingly delicious.

Really good in a pinch!

Used these lentils as part of a quick weeknight dinner and they worked a treat - lovely flavour and not all soft and mushy like other pre-cooked lentils I've tried

A new kitchen staple

I was in two minds over the Oddpods Kidney Beans but I'm hugely in favour of these Brown Lentils. They're so much more appetising than the canned varieties I've previously bought: just enough flavour and none of the 'dustiness', if that's the right word, I normally associate with lentils. I'll be buying again.

Ok as a time saver

I was given these by Ocado to review. They certainly were easy to prepare, and tasted fine, but compared to the dried lentils I would normally cook, these were a little dry. Definitely nice and quick though, so could be a handy standyby.
