Just don't
OSH and Old Crafty Hen have been in my top 10 for years. If you're a fan, just don't get this - it's worse than disappointing. You've been warned. Enjoy this responsibly by not parting with your money. Nothing like the original and the worst of about 10 low/no alcohol brews I've tried recently. The label says it's brewed "to deliver taste and aroma evocative of the original". Epic failure, then. Just don't.
best ale without alcohol
Pretty good colour and flavour - enough to pass as a proper drink.
Wanted to like it but...
We love Old Speckled Hen, but this was not nice. We persevered, hoping we would like it better with food, But had to throw it away in the end. Very nasty taste indeed. Nothing like the real Speckled Hen.
Very disappointing
Given Old Crafty Hen is my favourite beer and I don’t mind Old Speckled, I was excited to try this. Very disappointing. 2 stars is generous. Agree with other reviews that the taste is actually quite odd.

Thin and watery, not a good low alcohol beer. Try shipyard, clearhead or goram IPA instead.
Not For Me
Unfortunately I simply did not like the taste of this beer, I wouldn’t say it was an unpleasant drink and some will enjoy it but I will not purchase again.
