over priced and tastes bitter
I bought one of these as my daughter has allergies to milk. Reading the reviews we were all super excited to try it. It had a nice texture but the size of the bars are tiny and it immediately tasted bitter to me with a horrible aftertaste. If you like dark chocolate, youll probably like this, but if youre a milk chocolate (of the usual variety) fan, this lacks sweetness and yumminess and wont be buying again :-(
Fantastic
This choc bar is fantastic. The closest to real chocolate for me. My kids love it and we also use it for baking.
a decent vegan chocolate
I really enjoyed this. It tasted how I imagined oat chocolate to taste like. I also liked the chopped up nuts which gave it a slightly crunchy consistency. Personally I felt the taste and consistency was different to milk chocolate (softer and almost slightly truffle-esque). I can see this being a regular in my shopping.
Not good
This is probably the worst dairy free chocolate I have tried, it is very chalky and has an awful after taste. I have no idea how it has such high ratings, even my 1 year old spat it out saying yuck. Avoid.
wouldn't tell the difference
I'm reviewing this as I got a free sample from ocado. Tastes great, you wouldn't be able to tell this wasn't dairy! Only 4 stars as it's a little dry/chalky with the hazelnuts added but just meant you have to be a bit more patient to let it melt in the mouth!
Oat and hazelnut treat
Was sent by Ocado for a review: Being a fan of oats and hazelnut this was a nice treat to try, its cutely packaged and very nice presentation. We found the chocolate very nice and satisfying even with a small piece. The ingredients have nicely blended in making it very tasty and not overly sweet or overpowering. Its definitively something worth buying or gifting .
