Lovely flavour and 100% grass fed!!
Right product, wrong producer
Finally organic grass fed product, sadly Lye Cross Farm have been fined for being regularly polluting the local watercourses. When will these companies get it right and be held accountable? Will now not purchase again.
hit or miss
Have bought this quite a few times and it seems 50/50 whether you get the most delicious rich tangy cheese ever or something that tastes like cow manure. Im assuming its something about the cows diets changing between summer and winter. Havent gotten ill from it but the cow taste is very unpleasant. Becomes milder if you melt it, but not sure I want to keep playing roulette on this one.
Glorious flavour, British and organic!
This is outstanding! It has an exquisite deep full flavour without being overpowering - a perfect balance of creaminess and tang. The flavour is exceptional. Perfect raw, melted and in cooking. I love that it is completely natural from organic grass-fed pastures, from a local, ethical, organic farm which cares about the environment and planet. We also love Lye Cross Farm Organic Farmhouse Butter. Highly recommend this British organic brand.
Lasts ages if you put it in a container in fridge. Versatile, tangy, organic, not a bad price point-I always come back to this one.
Tasty strong cheese with great flavour. Melted on toast under grill is a lovely quick meal. Would recommend.
