Delicious!!
I made this a little different to the instruction (more like you would from scratch) and the results were amazing. I sautéed onion, button mushrooms and garlic in olive oil, added the rice and a glass of wine then 2 organic knorr stock pot dissolved in the 700ml of water. Rather than leave it to boil as per the instructions, I stirred regularly like you would a normal risotto. I finished it off with organic double cream, Parmesan, spinach, chives and drizzle of truffle oil and served it with pan roasted chicken breast. It did take longer to cook than the instruction stated but it was well worth the extra cooking time.
Horribly bitter and acidic
Made this up with some smoked bacon lardons and a dash of white wine, but the risotto came out with a very strong lemony, bitter and acidic taste so much so I couldnt eat it. I usually buy the cheaper Gallo ones which are delicious. No amount of cheese or butter could save this Organico one unfortunately. In the bin and opted for Deliveroo instead.
Tasty
Very convenient when time is short. Definitely enough for 3.
Porcini risotto
Simple to make - full instructions provided- and delicious to eat. Thoroughly recommend.
Delicious meal for 2
Quick and delicious meal. Love it! We added some wine to cook as advised, and served with some parmesan. The mushroom taste was a bit strong for my children, but my husband and I loved it! The perfect meal for 2. I will buy again.
Lovely stuff !!!
This is really gorgeous so simple and not hours stirring a pan .its wonderful as the packet says to add wine but Marsala also works. When putting in the water I add a knorr stock pot which really helps with the seasoning.
