Worth every penny
I was cynical about smoothie kits. In the past, a lot of avoidable packaging and price gauging was in play for selling sub-par frozen fruit mixes you could get so much more cheaply, separately. Then when the recipes got more interesting, the flavour wasn't there. We ordered some of these on a promo, as I want to increase the range of plant foods the family eat. There is so, so much evidence that gut biome is affected by range as well as type of food, with the bigger the array of fruit, veg, herbs and spices the better. Well, these taste completely delicious and we now mix and match eg three sachets and bags of fruit, throw in some boost juice shots of eg turmeric, or ginger, and some pressed apple juice (yes, yes I know). A tablespoon of Greek yoghurt and a teaspoon of almond butter and my kids start their morning with what they regard as a sorbet, and I know is 30 plus kinds of plant food in their stomachs. These are brilliant and I now ensure the bottom freezer drawer is full of them. Just wish you could buy larger sizes, and save money that way.
Educate yourselves
Alarming how many people are avoiding sugar, even sugar from fruit. Sugar is the number one energy source for the human body, your brain quite literally runs on sugar and sugar alone.
Could be better
Had it with coconut water to reduce sugar intake. Unless you like very earthy tastes, take the surgar hit and have it with apple juice. Plastic packet does not have a perforated tear line like other brands do.
Great Idea
At first glance it looks very expensive, but actually works out cheaper than buying a bottle of smoothie. The fruit is already chopped and measured out into individual bags, and there are separate packets of superfoods, so very easy to throw into a blender with water/coconut milk or whatever else you want. Makes a lovely, fresh and tasty smoothie.
Fresh when required.
I kept the bags in the freezer, and they blended into a delicious smoothie in seconds. I used mine with pineapple juice and another time with milk. Both results were good.
Great product
This is a great way to make a delicious smoothie that's healthy and nutritious. I just make with water but would be great with any fruit juice too
