Once opened consume within 2 days. Do not exceed use by date. Cool leftovers to room temperature, refrigerate within 2 hours, consume within 2 days.
Suitable for freezing on day of purchase. Use within one month.
Defrost thoroughly before use: do not refreeze once defrosted.

Whether roasted, grilled, or baked, our half chicken promises a satisfying and mouthwatering experience. Cook from chilled. Remove from fridge 30 minutes before cooking ensuring all packaging removed.
Preheat oven: 200°C / Fan 180°C / Gas Mark 6.
Season the chicken and put in the centre of the oven in a preheated tray for 20 mins, then reduce the temp down to 180°C, and cook for a further 30 minutes per kg.
To check the chicken is cooked, insert a skewer into the thigh. If the juices run clear, the chicken is cooked. If they run pink, return to the oven for a further 5 minutes and re-test.
When cooked remove from the oven and rest for 15 minutes.
