ABOUT THE DISH 
Our 2023 Great Taste award-wining reginette (Italian for ‘little queens’) are a striking, ribbon-shaped pasta with wavy edges. Also known as mafaldine, this pasta shape was originally created to honour the birth of Princess Mafalda of Savoy, the daughter of King Victor Emmanuel III of Italy, in 1902. The princess had beautiful, curly hair, and so these wavy strands of pasta were an appropriate tribute. With a textured surface that was made to hold sauce, ribbons of reginette are the ideal companion for our slow-cooked beef shin ragú; though we recommend pairing with any of our delicious fresh pasta sauces also available on Ocado.

No egg despite photo looks so

This used to be a good brand with rich taste of egg in their fresh pasta. However they no longer care about the taste/quality. The pasta now has 0 egg ingredients and the photo looking like yellow in colour is false advertisement. What I received is grey/pale in colour. Sad to see a brand I liked went in this way.

Brilliant pasta and so easy

We have this a few times a month - absolutely perfect, it has ruined us for other fresh/quasi-fresh pasta. It cooks very quickly and the shape holds sauce brilliantly.

This is A cool original shape and it's a great texture! This pasta is my go to and works brilliantly with any of the sauces!

Unusually wonderful!

So different to other fresh pasta shapes on Ocado which we loved and a reason we like shopping with Ocado. Plus perfect with a ragu!

Rubbery pasta

We tried this for the first time and no one liked it. Rubbery taste and odd looking.

Not a very nice texture.
