Lovely but expensive
These are very tasty but poor value - not many biscuits in a box.
4.6g saturated fat per biscuit
As others have said, tasty but expensive. 3 mini packs of 2 biscuits each per pack. But what justifies my 2 stars is the high saturated fat. A man's NHS recommended daily max saturated fat intake is 30g, a woman's 20g. Meaning for a woman, two of these biscuits consumes 46% of the recommended daily saturated fat intake. Cholesterol heaven? I threw the rest of the packet in the bin. Not what I personally expect from Deliciously Ella products.
Expensive But Tasty
For what you get in the packet these arent cheap but if youre looking for a ginger hit and like both biscuits and cookies (which these seem to be a hybrid of) then you should definitely try them
Soft Texture
Tasty biscuit with a ginger flavour that slowly builds. Quite a soft texture that cannot really be described as “crunchy”.
Ok
I’m reviewing this product because I got a free coupon from Ocado. We wanted to like these as we haven't found any plant based confectionary treats that are tasty, still looking. Shared with friends and they were not hugely keen either.
Tasty
Much nicer than regular ginger biscuits
