It\x27s supposed to smoke!
Those staring it's smokey. It's supposed to smoke! The smoke along with the citronella scent is what keeps insects away. It works and my candle lasted ages
Smoke! smoke!!
This candles wick emits thick black smoke , no longer how long you burn it for!! Not a good buy at all!! I even trimmed the wick but it still did not stop emitting thick black smoke!!!
Works well but ...
It needs a second wick. There's a lot of wax wasted as it burns down from the centre leaving a big unburned border which is very wasteful. I would buy again if on offer, as it certainly keeps the midges away.
Brilliant candles
I have purchased 2 of these now, both with money off coupons and they are great smelling candles which burn brilliantly. At the price l paid, definitely NO complaints from me.
Smaller than led to believe by description
Note that the size of the actual candle is much smaller than the pot: 140mm wide and 20mm high. This is about 1/5 of the volume mentioned in the product description.
Works Brilliantly
We lit this candle for the first time when flies and wasps were beginning to be quite a nuisance at lunch on the patio. It creates quite a lot of black smoke but as soon as it was lit the the pests disappeared. Impressive!
