why the sugar?!!!
Good idea but why add sugar or sweeteners? No need. Come on Ocado, set a president here. Stop agreeing to sell savoury foods which have sugar or sweeteners in. We dont want it and certainly dont need it!
The best
Definitely the best tinned veggie chilli I've tried. I prefer my chilli a little hotter, but this is so flavourful and easy to pimp up with some extra cayenne - highly recommend.
Good flavour
Great for a quick lunch with some grated cheese and avocado, however it loses a star for not enough chilli
very decent quick option with no nasties
One can makes two filling lunches just nicely, on a baked potato and a bit of grated cheese. This will be a regular short cut for us I think. Its not particularly spicy but has a good flavour and nice texture in the sauce. A bit of fresh chilli on top would perk it up no end, if thats your fancy!
Tasty
A great store cupboard standby! This has plenty of beans and plenty of flavour, with a good spicy kick. Just had half a tin for a solo lunch with a small pitta bread, and that was perfect. It has a ring pull and was easy to open. I would imagine that if you want to mix some real or veggie mince in with this, it would make a good base for that too.
Great over nachos!
This is my favourite cupboard back up. I mix with a tin of chopped tomatoes then let it simmer to thicken. Pour over nachos, top with grated cheese then under the grill. Perfect!
