I like this on bread and recently added it to mash potatoes in place of the usual milk/butter combo and it was great.
This margarine has absolutely no flavour whatsoever. It's like eating slippery air. Please can someone develop a GOOD tasting dairy-free margarine??
Up until last month we used to buy this spread all the time - it was one of the better ones. Something must have changed in the recipe as it tastes very different - extremely unpleasant aftertaste and different consistency, as if it has gone off. Looking for an alternative now.
Gorgeous vegan spread!
I tried this as an alternative to Koko Dairy Free Spread and I am so glad I did - it is absolutely delicious!! Gorgeous creamy flavour and tastes far more indulgent than it is. I love that it contains no preservatives or artificial additives of any kind, and better still, the Sustainable Palm Oil is RSPO Certified. Delicious on toast, bread, vegetables, potatoes, couscous - great on/with everything!
Artificial taste - very overpowering/nasty
I had hoped that a different PURE type, I tried the 'new' sunflower one last month, would be different. This one tastes just as cheap and artifical as the sunflower one. A real pity, as I've been buying this product for years. Will not be buying again.
Good, but prefer the sunflower one
Yay for dairy-free spreads that don't taste horrid. However I personally prefer the sunflower one in this range, especially for eating on its own on toast. But nothing specifically wrong with this one.
