literally what ?!
Vile, stagnant mush that resembles dog food - I expected so much better from Quorn
Absolutely awful. Dont waste your money. Couldnt give a 'no stars' rating!
I thought this used to taste like curry its a gloopy mess now, what happened?
Terrible taste and colour
Wasn't tasty at all and the colour of the product looked very different to the picture and to my opinion pretty disgusting.
Very odd taste and texture, sadly, nothing about it said biryani to me. I won't be purchasing this again.
Mushy brown mess
I chose to overlook the previous negative reviews of this product and order it regardless, something I now wish I had not have done! I microwaved as per instructions and the dish came out a mushy, brown glop, with each component melding into the next. This had none of the flavour of a true biryani, with the only identifiable taste being a weak tomato, despite the abudance of visible coriander. I was expecting the sultanas to bring at least a small burst of sweetness but they had literally no taste to them. As somebody that typically enjoys Quorn pieces, I found the ones in this bowl to be devoid of their usual flavour and have a very mushy consistency to boot. I added salt to the meal just to make it palatable, as well as black pepper, which I would not normally do with Indian food but since this tasted nothing like Indian cuisine I went ahead. Just to be clear, I was in no way expecting this pot to be of the same quality as a fresh ready meal, but I have had far tastier long-life meal pots than this. I very rarely leave one star reviews but this product was awful. I would recommend that people avoid this dish, as it is by far the worst product I have had from the Quorn brand!
