All round good beer
refreshing and tasty
strong in flavour
must be drunk ice cold as it tastes better.
Fresh gooseberry
I was sent 3 cans as a rather eccentric substitution for the very different Butcombe ale. I kept one to try. Very pale, frothy, fresh, light gooseberry.... Interesting but once was fine.
Top beer
lovely. The nettle sounds weird but it isn't
Very nice
A tasty ale with a good flavour. You can tell it has something special in it (the nettle) but it is subtle and good.
Well thought out product
This isn't just a can of ale this is a fun idea all round. The packaging has a rough texture like that of a nettle leaf, it's quite gassy as when it's poured it produces a delicious froth but it is light and I think would be nice made up as a shandy with lime or lemon mixed in. Nettles are really good for you so that's a bonus on top of it being organic and environmentally friendly!
