Finally! Easy Matcha..

Whilst it doesn't come with the lovely ritual of making a real matcha, this is incredibly convenient and makes a very good Matcha Latte. If you compare a latte made bean-to-cup by a barista to one made with a Nespresso machine, this is a fair approximation on quality with this vs. a real hand-made Matcha Latte. Still very good, but with a tiny fraction of the time, mess and cost!

The pod doesn't get pierced properly resulting in a cup of water

Not really compatible as advertised

Compatibility: BAD - 9 out of 10 times the pods do not pierce through in the nespresso machines. They are in a slightly different shape than the regular or original nespresso pods - leaked everywhere! Taste: MEH - As an Asian who grew up having matcha, these are weak and bland. I can hardly taste the matcha. If I were you, I would save myself some time and just go to Japan Centre for some matcha powder so that you don't have to endure the mess and hassle cleaning up!

Happy these exist

These are so convenient and produce really good matcha tea. In my opinion these are better than overpriced powders. As a reviewer below advised, definitely pop a couple of holes in the foil with a knife beforehand.

very convenient!

Matcha in convenient (almost) Nespresso compatible pods. I have found that the nespresso machine doesnt pierce this capsule as much as regular capsules but if I pierce it myself a few times with a sharp knife it works great. This is the reason Im taking a star off. Apart from that i love the convenience of having instant matcha!
