This is distilled water at an exorbitant price! I am flabbergasted by the good reviews for this product. It's tasteless.
Tastes like water with a hint of orange
A complete waste of money - if you try it neat, it tastes like someones put orange peel in water for a couple of hours. Going to stick to Fever Tree citrus tonic water on its own - much cheaper!
Grove is so refreshingly tasty, the citrus notes makes it the perfect summer drink and I no longer have to feel childish or left out when when I'm not drinking. Seedlip is a life saviour,
My second favourite Seedlip
My favourite Seedlip is definitely the garden version, which I find the most grown-up alternative to a real gin and tonic. However the Grove version, when mixed with Fevertree light is a pretty close second. I tried it with Fevertree Mediterranean, and in my opinion it didnt work at all, so Im glad I tried it again with their original tonic. My main gripe is the price. Much as I like these as alcohol free alternatives, I find it hard to justify the price.
got given this as a gift, it was absolutely awful... soapy horrible taste, i couldn't find any way to drink it.
Not an alcohol substitute
I bought as an alcohol substitute but it doesn't have the body or kick off an alcoholic drink. So no substitute at all. As an alternative form of beverage, it does have a mild flavour that can form part of a great drink, but then so does fruit squash. I can't say I'd recommend as any form of drink at this price.
