Soulful OnePots take cooking back to basics: simple, honest ingredients, prepared by hand and slow-cooked by us in, you guessed it, one pot.
Our thoughtful recipes are purposefully balanced to provide everything you need for a wholesome, satisfying meal.
Each OnePot contains grains, lentils or beans... so there's no need to 'just add rice' or anything.
The Soulful Story
We started Soulful with a heartfelt quest for simple, handmade, wholesome food.
To begin we restored a vintage airstream trailer and headed off festivals and events, serving up hearty goodness. People loved our meals so much they wanted ot be able to buy it in shops.
So we packed our good mood food into a handy grab-and-go tub for everyone to experience a moment of soulfulness.
"When it comes to a OnePot meal, what's just as important as the carefully sourced ingredients and the carefully thought through recipes is the time and the passion that is put into it." Iain, Founder

Passable
Ive had quite a lot of another pot in this range and thought Id try something new. Reading the description (but unfortunately not the reviews), I expected something richly spiced, packed with flavour and a chilli heat. What I got was a ok. Not particularly spicy and a bit flat in terms of flavour. Would I eat it again. Sure, but only if there werent any preferable alternatives and Id add some ingredients
Not another recipe change?!
This used to be one of the better Soulful stews, but ugh, I think it's the dreaded new recipe effect. Previously it had a nutty taste with a slight seasoning kick to it. Now it tastes like soap with an unsubtle seasoning kick! The unidentified lumps may or may not be peanuts, chickpeas and sweet potato. Who knows. I wish manufacturers would stop mucking about with perfectly good recipes.
Recipe change?
I've long been a fan of this Soulful pot always thick and creamy with a good punch of peanut and a nice heat. Packed with beans, chick peas, red rice and veggies. However... Just finished eating the latest one that I bought and it was a big difference to the norm. This one was very runny, more like soup than a stew, lacking in red rice and sweet potato, and the flavour was extremely bland. Will try one more purchase but if the next one is the same as today's then it'll be off my shopping list. If it is back to normal I'll revise this review.
Did the lid fall off the Cinnamon jar??
This has been a favourite, regular purchase for quite a while. But the packaging has changed recently, and so, unfortunately, has the product inside it. Instead of the once richly spiced concoction, with just the right amount of heat, there is now no flavour other than an overwhelming hit of Cinnamon. What on earth has happened?? Great Taste Awards need to review this product asap - but in the meantime, save yourself some cash, and if you like Cinnamon, just have a spoonful.
Great and cheap
Love this for when I can't be bothered to cook. Works as a lunch or small dinner. I sometimes add grated cheese and a salad.
Uneventful
Just as well buy a decent soup, this is far to bland. Ingredients are good and healthy I guess and it was better with lots of hot pepper sauce but wouldn't buy again..distinctly average.
