Thankfully I read the sticker comments so was able to deal with it and use the pin easily. For future people trying to deal with this devils adhesive you can put it in a microwave for 5 seconds and it conquers the glue. (20 minutes in the freezer also works).
Label won't come off
Don't recommend this because 1) Had blue dye stain on. 2) Label won't come off, tiny bits that will leave big sticky mess which I can't remove with sticky stuff remover because its porous wood and used on food. Label glue needs rethinking.
Good luck getting the sticker off
Not sure why they'd put a sticker on a rolling pin, but it's really annoying. Having to spend ages picking all the bits of paper off before I can use it, which I didn't expect to have to do.
Same as other reviews \- sticker
It's near impossible to remove. Tried the suggested oil tip; no help. I've spent several hours so far trying to remove. If it wasn't for the fact I need it immediately (Coronation quiche to make!) I think I'd have binned it and purchased another. Given three stars as if they can sort out the sticker issue it seems like the pin itself is of good quality.
I still can't get most of the sticker off even with the suggestion of soaking in olive oil and it is just an unusable mess :(
Despite doing what Tala recommended to remove it the sticker was terrible to remove. Had to soak it and scrub with a scourer multiple times to get it all off. Happy with it now the sticker has gone.
