way too hot
I usually like Tanpop sushi. I'd call it value for money rather than top of the tree but that's fine. A big boy pack does 2 or three meals along with a side salad so not expensive. I had the smoked one this time. It was fine till I got to the spicy salmon which just about took my head off and has made my tongue sore. I left 2/3 of the one I tasted and will be throwing the other one away which, given they are two of the big pieces, takes this pack's value from "ok" to "no way". This means i can get equivalent quality for better value elsewhere. Bye bye Tanpopo.

The salmon was really thick on the nigiri. Overall it all just tasted very processed.

I got this 40% off in a flash sale. It was delicious. Not sure I would buy full price in terms of value for money but lovely as a treat.
pleasantly surprised
Got this in a flash sale and was surprised by how generous it was. Everything was good quality and not dried out. I thought this was better than most supermarket sushi.
Nice selection
My children really love this and its a good selection. All varieties in the box are nice and tasty. It just sometimes arrives a bit disheveled but thats the Ocado packing!
