Tasting notes
This oil has a distinctive aroma with clear sensations of unripe vegetables, olive leaf, fresh walnut and a hint of tomato, typical of the Carolea cultivar. Delicate in the mouth it surprises for the balanced tones of sweet, bitter and spicy and for its pungent sensations of chili and black pepper that complement the bitter notes of chicory and rocket.

Not too bitter, very tasty EVOO
Decided to purchase this oil due to positive reviews and it didnt disappoint. You can feel the fresh taste of good quality olive oil and its not too bitter at the same time (BioOrto red bottle one was too intense for my taste, for example). Will buy again!
nice and mild
Lovely dark bottle to protect the oil. Flavour is smooth and mild. We love it with balsamic vinegar and dip sourdough bread in it! Also great for dressing salad! It pours so nicely it will make a mess. Would buy again!
The best olive oil
This is the best olive oil I've ever bought and I feel like it's definitely worth the cost - delicious on salads, to dip bread in to, to use in cooking, not over powering but just a lovely smooth taste to it. Just bought my second bottle and it lasts quite a while, a little goes a long way. Will continue to buy and recommend it.
Excellent flavour, mild but very useful
I purchased this when on reduced price and found it excellent. Not peppery like some so very useful for a wide variety of Italian dishes, including top dressing pasta sauces.

Best Oil I have ever had.
I’m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. I am so happy to have got a sample, I received both the Bio Carolea and Carolea. Wow these oils taste so fresh it is like someone is squeezing it from the olive onto the plate. Bio Carolea has a more green taste to it (describing a flavour as a colour is odd, but it is a more earthy, leafy aftertaste) and the standard Carolea, well, my family and my friends have either wrote down the name or photographed the bottle when I have served it with fresh bread and balsamic vinegar. The bottle looks great, and the product is flawless. I will be a lifelong customer.
