Looked lovely in the packet . When cooking bacon oozed white watery gunk which weirdly disappeared to be replaced by fat . By far the saltiest bacon Ive probably ever eaten. Couldnt taste anything but salt . Extremely disappointed given the price paid.
I respect Black Farmer as a premium pork brand, so was surprised at how disappointing this bacon was. Pan filled with water from the bacon- not like the cheap stuff but still enough that I had to crack out the paper towel to soak it up. Upon eating, the overall flavour is salt, and it was very overpowering to the point where I wish I hadn't seasoned my scrambled egg. Smoked flavour isn't noticeable due to the saltiness. Real shame. On the plus side, thickness was good and it wasn't too fatty.
